Travis Cassell, the owner. HomeWise is deliberately owner-operated, so you work with him directly rather than being passed to an account manager or a call center.
What does full management include?
Tenant screening and placement, rent collection, maintenance coordination, regular inspections, lease renewals, and owner reporting. Travis takes the day-to-day off your plate.
How much do you charge?
It depends on the property and what you need, so Travis covers the exact numbers on a quick call and keeps it straightforward.
How is this different from the larger property management companies?
Travis built a 500-unit property management company and sold it to one of the largest firms in the industry, then deliberately came back to run something small and hands-on. You get someone who has operated at real scale but chose to stay boutique so the service stays personal.
Do you actually do inspections?
Yes, and they're a core part of the service. Owners regularly come to us after a company stopped inspecting their property and something expensive went unnoticed.
My current property manager has been terrible. Can you take over?
That's the most common reason owners reach out. Travis can walk you through how a transition works and what he'd do differently with your property.
I've been managing it myself. Is it worth switching?
Many of the owners Travis works with self-managed for years. What he takes over is the part that eats your time and sleep: the maintenance calls, chasing rent, screening, and the paperwork.
I couldn't sell my house, so now I need to rent it. Can you help?
Yes, and that's a very common situation in this market. Travis can get it rented, place a well-screened tenant, and manage it from there so it isn't your problem.
